I'm the moderator.  Actually we're not a moderated list, so I'm the
list-(mom|pop). Feel free to post contrary views.  What I am OK with
is positions that are respectful of the person(s) that you're
discussing the issue with.  If it ventures outside of that I will ask
for the thread to die or to move off-list.  There is a list policy on
the website - its pretty good, so bear it in mind, too.

That said, if you have something to contribute that isn't just "no,
you're wrong and stupid" and if it generates a response that's more
informative than "no, you're wronger and stupider" then I'd be
inclined to think that its worth discussing.
