Description: IGX Global a provider of Comprehensive and 
Dynamic Enterprise Security Solutions is seeking a technically 
strong hands-on manager for its Security Operation Centers (SOC). 
We are a very Linux/open source-centric shop. This person must 
offer the following values: 
- Exceptionally strong in security with well formulated concepts 
  and approaches. 
- Strong Leadership, Management and Communication skills. 
- Active involvement and understanding of open source community 
  and tools. 
- Strong client management and refined qualitative skills. 
- Ability to track and see to fruition multiple simultaneous small 
  and large projects. 

Technical skill and requirements are as follows: 
-Excellent understanding of Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP) 
-Layer 2 Switching (Spanning Tree and VLANs) 
-Firewall Implementation, Monitoring, and Management 
-Understanding of Encryption standards i.e. IPSEC, TLS/SSL 
-Secure authentication methods including LDAP, Biometric, and Token 
-Intrusion Detection/Prevention solutions implementation, 
 infrastructure placement, baseline tuning, Monitoring and intelligent 
 alert response. 
-Assessment of Risk for firewall/security policy requests with the 
 ability to label the request High, Medium, or low risk and capability 
 to offer alternative low risk approach. 
-Security Audits / white hat compromises utilizing outside in, social 
 engineering, and dumpster diving techniques. -Experience with and
 preference toward Linux/UNIX platforms. 
-Must not be afraid to organize telecom racks, rewire cabling 
 infrastructure, and handle power consumption issues.

foremost and a good manager who can drive their security expertise 
through processes that can deliver success.
