[nylug-talk] DNS resolution dying

Hey Everybody in LinuxLand,

   I have run across this annoying problem on one of my RH 8.0 boxes.
The DNS resolution is dying. When I do a dig, I get a connection timed
out. I have checked that the DNS server is up (it's at my ISP), but when
I issue a name resolution call, it just hangs. But, I can reach places
with using the ip address so I know that I still have connectivity. And
the only thing that seems to resolve this is a reboot. Have any of you
guys seen this?
