I got earthlink -which is the same service but you
also get a dial up- and so far no problems with
blocked ports - They don't allow servers

Speed is very good
but depends on your location
if a lot of people have it you speed will decrease

Plus, earthlink tech support seems to be a little more
knowledgeable than time warner - but they are also
very good (also use them at work)
